Friendly staff. despite all tables being reserved. The staff found us a table for half an hour, which was all we needed. It was an excellent meal , cooked very well and good portion sizes. excellent value for money. the wine was excellent too. Booking advisable. The best place to eat in Dunoon by far!

Myself and my husband where here for our 1st year anniversary on Saturday night and although we didn’t eat there we had a fab night drinking cocktails made by the lovely Jill , her personality is amazing and she was a pleasure to be in the company of. She is a credit to your gorgeous wee place we hope to visit again soon , thanks for a great night Jill.

Had my first night in the Lorne on Saturday and had a great night – cocktails were amazing and it was a great atmosphere! The place looks brilliant as well – it’s unrecognisable from what it was previously. Didn’t try the food as the cocktails were our focus but looking forward to doing that next time.

In on Tuesday night for dinner, burger night! Was awesome and Donna had mac n cheese. Both to be reccomended and everything else that came out looked great. First time in The Lorne for 15+ years and wow what a difference to the place. Will definitely reccomend for dinner and we’ll be back!

Couldn’t believe it was the same place I walked into about 8 years ago. Transformation! My sons 1st birthday celebration went down a treat. Staff friendly and attentitive. Not usually a Carvery fan but the meal was lovely, lamb deserves a special mention. Keep up the good work guys. Shall be back for a ‘proper’ night soon.

Absolutely stunning place. The food is amazing and the prices are excellent. Had a great night last night and the staff are so friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely meal. Fantastic.

Had a lovely lunch here today food was lovely and as I’m a big fan of strawberry daqueries they did not disappoint they were amazing!

Had a great night with friends. Food was amazing. Think I will need to work my way through the whole menu though, because I had food envy at everyone else’s dish! All very reasonably priced. The whole experience is fab and the staff make it. So happy Dunoon has this! Will be reccomending to all my friends.

The place looks brilliant now. The Steak and Ale pie was lovely and the homemade cheesecake excellent. Can’t wait to go back and try the burgers and more of that cheesecake.
